Digging season comes to an end for most deciduous trees just before they break bud and leaf out in the spring.

Most of our trees are dug to order and will continue growing in our fields until sold. Whether your interest is in purchasing one tree, or a truckload, we welcome you to visit our nursery and choose the perfect trees for your garden or landscape project.

Homeowners - when you visit the nursery, you can have the unique experience of walking through our fields and looking at our trees “on the hoof,” so to speak. We’ll give you a tree caliper tool and a roll of colorful flagging tape, and you can choose and flag your own. A deposit of 25% of the cost of the tree will hold it for you until it can be dug. Some varieties can be dug now. It is safer to dig most varieties after their leaves have fallen. Flag now to reserve your favorite for fall color, and we will dig your tree in November/December. We can deliver to the Portland Metro area for a small fee.

Planting services are available - usually between $50 and $150, depending on the size of the tree, and the site prep work required. In general, we can deliver and plant a tree for you for about the same as you could purchase a tree in a local retail nursery.
